Texas

Formed in Glasgow in 1986 around Sharleen Spiteri and Johnny McElhone, Texas made a name for themselves with their elegant pop-soul sound and hits such as « Say What You Want »" or "« Black Eyed Boy »", taken from White on Blonde (1997), their best-selling album, which sold 4 million copies worldwide, including 500,000 in France. To mark the 30th anniversary of this cult album, a reissue is due out on 5 February 2027, and on 21 October 2026 the band unveiled «Another Way To Cry», their first original track in over three years. Texas will then head back out on the European tour, with two dates in France: at the Accor Arena in Paris on Saturday 6 November 2027, followed by the LDLC Arena in Lyon (Décines-Charpieu) on Tuesday 9 November 2027.
